Abstract*: Das Gewässernetz stellt den digital erfassten Liniengraphen der Gewässer in Tirol dar. Er bildet die Grundlage für viele Informationen, die anhand dieses Graphen erstellt wurden und werden. Der Liniengraph ist kilometriert, jede Position entlang des Verlaufes kann somit eindeutig bestimmt werden (Measure-Werte). Das Gewässernetz Tirol ist der auf Tirol reduzierte Teil des Gesamtgewässernetzes Österreich (GGN) das auch vom Ministerium (BMNT) veröffentlicht wird.
